After a 20+ year career in marketing working for leading companies in the UK and US, I felt an urge to leave the corporate environment behind and establish Green Peaks Marketing Services LLC in 2024. While grateful for the opportunity to learn at large organizations like Tesco, BestBuy, MetLife, Quest Diagnostics and Samsung, it is easy to feel like small cog in a very large machine when part of a marketing department some 200+ people in size.

While proud of my achievements having led teams and marketing campaigns that reached millions of people and generated millions of dollars in revenue, it was hard to feel and see the true impact when merely looking at numbers in marketing reports.

When a friend or relative would say “Hey, I received your email marketing campaign today and really liked it”, or “I saw your company’s new brand campaign on YouTube”, I was certainly proud, especially if they got a good deal or received something of value. This was the catalyst behind me deciding to leverage my expertise and my network of fellow marketing experts to work with local companies in need of marketing help.

In my initial research I heard time and again from small business owners that they simply felt overwhelmed at how much there is to consider when it comes to marketing. They needed a trusted partner to guide and advise on which marketing channels made sense for them, and to manage the process from strategy to execution.

So if you’re a business in the Connecticut, Westchester or Putnam counties of New York that is looking for marketing services to grow your business through increased awareness, more leads and sales, stronger customer relationships and loyalty, I’d love to hear from you for a free one-on-one consultation (no 15-person meetings thank you!).

Sincere thanks for considering us to help you with your business marketing needs.

What’s in a name?

We all have that special place where we feel inspired, where in the moment, it feels like all is well in the world and anything is possible. For me, that place is the Yorkshire Dales in the north of England where I grew up. It’s a place where one can enjoy a challenging climb, pausing to take in the natural beauty, and share smiles and conversation with the friendly folk who live and visit there. This echoes my approach to marketing – embrace the challenge, navigate and explore new paths, be courteous and show respect to others. I believe that by following these principles the ascent to the peak should be an enjoyable and rewarding experience for all.

The views from peaks across the land
laid out before us like our dreams.
The wind blows trumpets in a band
as silver snakes the sway of streams.
